Athena the Goddess of War Cookie Art Course is one of my Signature Cookie Art Pieces; I had many requests for a tutorial on how to paint it. But the full piece took me a very long time, so it was tough to figure out a way to make it into a manageable tutorial. I got there though, and decided to focus in on the most important parts of the design.

This course aimed at challenging those who’ve been staying in their comfort zones for a while. However, if you’re a beginner, I recommend you mark in your schedule to come back to this one when you have a few more advance level course under your belt!

First we need apply background, moving on to dimensional pressure piping (sculpting) the design, using the correct royal icing consistencies, which is crucial to developing the structure. Once your cookie has dried we begin to mix our food paste into “pseudo” Watercolor paints with realism using my Color Mixing Method!

The tonal value is crucial to achieve the visual interest and the stunning results!
Our creativity is so personal, and comes from deep within our hearts, that all kinds of barriers can get in our way without us even realizing, I has been there too! Dimensional Watercolor Athena the Goddess of War Cookie Art Course is challenging but if you stick with it, you’re going to love the results you can achieve!
